Happy 2012 and guess who's been to the craft sales...:0)

Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!!
Hope there aren't too many of you recovering from hangovers from last night!
We got together with our families and had a real good time, plenty of laughter all round, which is what it's all about.

On to the craft sales - oh boy I just love those don't you? Well I had to keep myself busy doing something between Christmas and New Year! Although when you see these photos you'll find out my guilty secret......only a tiny amount of items were reduced in the sale, but as we all know - once we start buying craft stash we just can't stop!  Isn't that the idea anyway?!

I was pleased as punch that Fizzy Moon was on sale so I snapped up a scrumptious box of their chipboard tags, sentiments and yummy bits, as well as their gorgeous enamelled brads and strokeable okay so I just made that word up but who cares glittered and plain papers.  Ooooh I dropped off to sleep dreaming about it all last night.

Here it is:-
The whopping great big red stickers are on the Fizzy Moon items, so yes, ahem *cough* *blush*, I did buy more non-Fizzy goodies by the looks of it.
Ooooh yeah, see those scrummy plain white Papermania flowers - can't wait to get my little mittens on those.  I've no idea what I'll do with them, but just to HOLD them will be good enough for me ;)
Next to those are 2 packets of beautifully glittered (but in an elegant fashion I'll have you know!) alphabets, some in cream and some in gold.
Beside those are a packet of the most delicious looking paper flowers with glittered centres in cream, brown or teal.
In the tiny white box in the foreground there are the most delicate embossed pearlescent white doves - everybody say "aaahh" - ideal for the weddings ahead of us.

Are you sitting comfortably?  I should really have asked that at the beginning because I have a confession to make - yep, I kept on spending my Christmas money!

Here's what else I brought:-
Now I'll have you know that with the Queen's celebrations coming up this year I am (for once) trying to get ahead of myself and trying to get organised in advance - you can tell it's January 1st can't you?!
I am determined to keep this enthusiasm going, at least craft-wise if nothing else.  Hence in the shop I felt a strong magnetic force pulling me towards the red white and blue section.
On the left are 2 packets of those glittered red, white & blue alphas, there's also flowers and other goodies.

Here's some close-ups:-

Anyone for a cup of rosylea......?!!

If you're still with me after this mammoth post, I congratulate you and you probably are now ready for a cuppa, or maybe something a little stronger!

If you're curious to see what I make with all this stash, then think of me because I'm even more baffled than you - I haven't a clue what I'll be creating!

Maybe I've tempted you to become a Follower - just to see what I do create.

Keep popping in,
Ellie Maggie x
